Gin and tonic
The base for this drink is of course simple, gin and tonic, yet you can make it different every time by garnishing it! Also, vary the different types of gin. Make this cocktail in a balloon glass or large red wine glass.

Ingredients
For 2 persons
- Gin
- 50 ml
- Tonic
- 120 ml
Preparation

Variation 1. Fill a balloon glass (or large red wine glass) to just below the rim with ice cubes to chill the glass. Pour the gin over the ice and squeeze a lime on top. Add the squeezed lime to the glass and stir. Add the (chilled) tonic and stir once.

Variation 2. Place a mint leaf at the bottom of your glass and add 2 slices of lemon. Fill the glass to just below the rim with ice cubes and pour the gin over it. Add the (chilled) tonic. Stir once and garnish with a mint leaf.

Variation 3. Put 6 (frozen) raspberries in the glass. Fill the glass to just below the rim with ice cubes and pour the gin over them. Add the (chilled) tonic and squeeze a lemon into it. Garnish with a mint leaf.

Variation 4. Fill the glass to just below the rim with ice cubes. Pour the gin over it and then the (chilled) tonic. Add a lime cut into wedges and 2-3 splashes of Angostura. Stir once and enjoy!

Variation 5. For this variation, take a long drink glass and add 1 or 2 sprigs of rosemary. Squeeze wedges of 1 lime into the glass and add the squeezed pieces along with 2 long pieces of cucumber. Add some ice cubes and pour the gin over the top. Top up with the tonic.
